• Warm Season lawns ONLY (Bermuda and/or Zoysia Turf) received a granular Lime application that was spread across your lawn.  Lime is a product that is used to correct and balance soil pH. Generally the proper pH of the soil that best allows for healthy lawns is a level of 6.5. Applying the proper amount of Nitrogen each year to encourage the growth of a lawn actually decreases the soils pH levels. Most soils in North Georgia are already naturally acidic. That's why lime is so important and why we have included it in our program as one of the applications. We feel it is our responsibility to get it back to the appropriate levels in order for lawns to have the proper uptake of nutrients to keep a lawn healthy and growing.  Many companies leave this particular application as an option and upcharge.  A post emerge was also applied as needed for any weeds that are already present in your lawn.
